I recently downloaded the game, and it works fine on my laptop.
However when I transferred it to my windows tablet this weird glitch happens.
I've already updated my graphics drivers from device controller and have installed older versions of directx. I've also tried to run it on compatibility mode but nothing.
System Specs:
Model: Chuwi Hi8
Processor: Intel Atom Z3736F @ 1.33Ghz 2.16Ghz
RAM: 2GB
OS: 32 bit Windows 10 Home

Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Hi,
The bad news is that you unfortunately suffer from terrible bugs present in Intel HD Graphics video drivers on Windows.
The good news is that we have a workaround. You can find it on our Known issues page, but let me quote it:

The good news is that we have a workaround. You can find it on our Known issues page, but let me quote it:
Let me know if that works for you. Adding an option is as simple as opening this file in some text editor (e.g. Notepad++) and appending a mentioned line to the end of the file.— Various visual glitches (like black rectangles, missing textures, random glitches) are known to exist with certain Intel HD 3000 GPUs and newer
This is partially fixed with our Episode 2 and Episode 3 releases, however, you might need to add an extra configuration option to the ons.cfg file. Firstly try a no-glclear option. If it fails to help, replace it with a no-texture-reuse line. This should fix the glitches, however, you might want a more powerful PC with discrete graphics for a better experience.
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Thank you very much, the first no-glclear thing works perfectly fine!
Now to fix Steins Gates 0 full screen problem... This tablet has way too much problems.

Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Nice it worked. Cannot help you with the other games though
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
A friend of mine, also using Windows, seems to have similar problems. Sometimes the background is missing, and a mouth becomes disembodied. Do you think it's the same kind of graphic card's issue, Vit9696?
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Yeah, that's pretty much the same bug I think. Quite weird, that it is still unfixed on some cards, because several of them did get an update as far as I know. We are looking forward to providing an out of the box solution but unfortunately it is currently impossible to detect the glitch anyhow but visually.
Could you tell me what gpu does he have and whether the suggested workaround helped him?

Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
We communicated online, across different time zones. I have asked him for further details, and provided him with your "known issues" workaround. Hopefully it will work for him as well. I will report back by tomorrow.
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Understood, well, let's hope it works for him
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
Problem solved! As suspected, his GPU (ATI Radeon HD 6630M) is closely related to the species of Intel HD 3000 (they are switchable to each other on his VAIO laptop). And there is an updated driver available. Once updated, it works like charm!
Re: Glitch on Windows Tablet?
That's good to hear at least. ATIs also were very problematic at some time. Apparently in the past it was particularly bad with OpenGL support on win, nobody tested it :/
