Your previous save file contains data that says boat shaking was running when you saved, and loading that data will override our change. After loading, you can use log jump to jump back...

We weren't aware that mouse wheel down bypasses the automode disabler on click (that's actually a bug), but if we fix it we will provide an ons.cfg option to make clicks preserve automode. That's not likely to happen before EP5, though.
